Transition probabilities in 69Ge and 71Ge

Popis: The decay properties of levels in 69 Ge and 71 Ge have been investigated with the reactions 66 Zn(α, nγ) 69 Ge and 68 Zn(α, nγ) 71 Ge. The measurements included branching ratios, mixing ratios and linear polarizations. For seven levels in 69 Ge and four levels in 71 Ge, lifetimes could be measured with the Doppler shift attenuation method (DSAM). From the data, reduced transition probabilities for seven transitions in 69 Ge and five in 71 Ge were extracted. The results are compared with the predictions of the weak coupling model.
