Agonoscena succincta (Heeger, 1856) (Hemiptera, Aphalaridae): a first record for Tunisia and Africa

Popis:	In April 2017, curling leaves were seen on Ruta graveolens L. (Rutacea) for the first time in an ornamental nursery at Chott Mariem (Governorate‐Sousse, Tunisia). Samples of the symptomatic leaves were collected and brought to laboratory for identification of the insect pests present. Morphological identification showed the presence of various life stages of Agonoscena succincta (Heeger, 1856) (Hemiptera, Aphalaridae). This species is seen for the first time in Tunisia and Africa.
