Popis:	Columnaris disease, due to Chondrococcus columnaris, was diagnosed during a die-off of white suckers (Catostomus commersoni) in a lake in Saskatchewan. The pathology of the disease in white suckers is described. This is the first known report of columnaris disease from the prairie region of Canada.
