The paper considers ways to select the number of stages and the total head rise distribution according to those in compressor design. It is proposed to use the Smith diagram with a selected (for the desired range) graph of the correction factor for the stages efficiency. A method for specifying in first approximation the total head rise for the first stage is proposed. A dependence is proposed for determining in first stage the values of the total pressure reduction coefficient. A dependence is proposed for determining in first approximation this indicator and compressor efficiency for each of the selected values of the number of stages. This allows to determine the optimal number of stages. When distributing the total head rise into stages, it is proposed to proceed from the assurance that in all stages the same value of the total pressure recovery coefficient. This allows to select the distribution of points for the stages on the Smith diagram, taking into account the proposed correction of the efficiency values of the stages. The construction of the working line in the TS diagram allows you to determine whether the resulting point is on a given isobar. If not, it is proposed to build a beam, and determine a new point, a new value of the increment of entropy, compressor efficiency in the second approximation. With this in mind, the selection of new points and the distribution of total head rise by stages according to the same methodology is being clarified. |
