Popis: | Using experimental data the authors determine standard deviations of distribution of the ductile-tobrittle transition temperature TK for the base metal (in the vessel shell) and weld metal for WWER-1000 reactor pressure vessels. Based on the standard deviations of TK , defect concentration and size distribution, dimensions of a postulated defect, and on the data regarding the reactor pressure vessel loading during the emergency cooldown, the authors find the values of the margin for spatial nonuniformity in terms of TK , T0, and Ω. |
