Popis:	The present study define and explore the past extropy measure based on record values. The motivation and relevance of the measure defined in the context of record values are discussed in detail. The advantage of constructing records over the random sample for estimating past extropy measure has been studied as well. Some important properties like monotonicity, ordering and bounds of past extropy of record values are also discussed. A simple estimator has been proposed for past extropy of record values and have estimated past extropy for two real life data sets.
