Two Types of Photo-Induced Voltages in Terbium Molybdate

Popis: | The dependences of the photo-induced voltage in the orthorhombic ferroelectric terbium molybdate g ' m Tb 2 (MoO 4 ) 3 upon the time t of the illumination by a laser beam was measured at room temperature at 0,1 s h t h 4500 s. The power of the laser radiation was 0,4 W. The distribution of the intensity along the sample was varied from highly inhomogeneous to homogeneous. It was found that the photo-induced voltages of two types with opposite signs appear due to the inhomogeneous illumination. The model was proposed to explain the appearance of the photo-induced voltage due to the inhomogeneous illumination. Qualitative data on the relaxation of the photo-induced voltage were obtained. |
