This research aimed to identify factors and factor correlations that affect the efficiency in education of an engineering program. Efficiency in this study was measured by students' GPA and satisfaction of students toward the program. The study was conducted in Thailand, one of the developing countries with a unique culture. The study surveyed the fourth-year industrial engineering students. The data were collected from the Department of Industrial Engineering, Kasetsart University at Bangkhen and Kamphaengsaen campuses. Structural Equation Modeling technique was applied. Exogenous variables were consisted of Teachers, Personal Financial Background, Rules and Regulations of Educational Institutions, Facilities, and School Activities. Endogenous variables were consisted of Activities Participation and Educational Performance. The results showed that 'Teachers' factor was found to be the most impacted factor toward program's satisfaction, followed by school 'Activities'. |
