Popis:	In the following essay, the relevance of modern research on epigenetics for the concept of Hahnemann’s theory of miasms is discussed. Presentation of epigenetic regulation and heredity and furthermore the relevance of epigenetics for medicine and homoeopathy. Main emphasis is put on the phenomenum of inheritability of epigenetic modifications in connection with heredity of the chronic miasms.
