| Popis: | Based on the approximations for the cylindrical-function ratios in the characteristic equation, we obtain asymptotic formulas for the eigenvalues of hybrid modes. The obtained expressions allow one to take into account variations in any waveguide parameter and to calculate the difference of the eigenvalues of modes belonging to the same mode group. |
