The article deals with the practical implementation of the X-ray fluorescence method for the separation of gold-bearing ores. The paper shows that the X-ray fluorescence method has an advantage over the X-ray absorption. Both in view of the fundamental physical limitations of the latter, and in view of the imperfection of technical means (sources and detectors). The paper shows the results of prototyping individual units and separator blocks, which allowed to evaluate its main parameters. |
