Popis: A new conducting polymer, polyselenophene film is prepared by electrochemical polymerization. A band gap of undoped polyselenophene is evaluated as 1.95 eV and its conductivity is around 10-9 S/cm at room temperature. The absorption spectrum changes remarkably, by the doping of acceptor like ClO4, and also the conductivity increases to 10-4 S/cm.
