Popis: | A novel preparation method of concentrated gold nanoparticle pastes was developed. A comb-shaped block copolymer was used to prevent the mutual coagulation of gold particles. Certain kinds of amines were found to reduce Au 3 + ion at an industrially preferable and controllable rate. The maximum metal concentration in the paste was 20% and the paste also contained 10% of the protective polymer. Gold nanoparticles having diameter of a few tens nanometer were known to exhibit red color due to plasmon light absorption. The gold nanoparticle paste obtained in this study was applied as a paint colorant and proved to show an aesthetic color and high weather durability. |
