Popis: Flavoperla triangulata sp. nov. (Figs. 10–18) Adult habitus. General color yellowish brown (Fig. 10). Head mostly pale with a triangular brown marking between ocelli, and a smaller pale brown obscure area between frontoclypeus and M-line; compound eyes dark, ocelli with dark rings; antennae brown (Figs. 10–11). Pronotum brown, rectangular except lateral areas paler, with pale brown rugosities and a pair of brown lines along anterior and posterior margins (Fig. 11). Wings hyaline, veins brown; legs pale. Male. Body length 8.6–8.9 mm; forewing length 10.8–11.1 mm; hindwing length 9.6–9.8 mm. Hammer basal half brown with wing-shaped anterolateral extensions; apical half mostly unpigmented; subapex distinctly tapering and nipple-like covered by numerous brown spinules; apex slightly swollen and turned upward in lateral view (Figs. 13–14). Sternum 9 sclerotized except medial portion membranous with broadly rounded apical process. Epiproct sclerite brown and subtriangular, divided into two small subtriangles by a slender and membranous band; anterior margin set between bases of paired dark brown triangular spines (Fig. 12). Paraprocts short, curved forward with small apical hooks (Fig. 12). Dorsum aedeagus with a pair of short vertical sclerites medially (Fig. 16), ventrally gourd-shaped and gradually tapering to an obtuse triangular tip with two rounded processes in basolateral area (Figs. 13, 15), aedeagus curved upward in lateral view (Fig. 17), in caudal view with a small “fish mouth-shaped mark” (Fig. 18). Female. Unknown. Larva. Unknown. Type material. Holotype male (HIST), CHINA: Shaanxi, Qinling Mountain, Pinglianghe Forestry Station at Ningshan County, 18.7070 N, 108.8247 E, 2012. VII.13, light trap, Weihai Li. Paratypes: 2 males, same data as holotype (HIST). Etymology. The specific name refers to the shape of marking on the head. “Tri” in Latin means three and “angulus” means an angle. Distribution. China (Shaanxi). Remarks. See above.
