Popis: | Generalized Frequency Division Multiplexing (GFDM) is the flexible non-orthogonal multi-carrier modulation (MCM) scheme which is suitable for the next generation wireless networks. However, pulse shaping filter design in GFDM system have a significant impact on Bit Error Rate (BER) performance due to Inter-Carrier Interference (ICI) & Inter-Symbol Interference (ISI). In this paper, the BER performance of GFDM system with Minimum Mean Square Error (MMSE) receiver over Additive White Gaussian Noise (AWGN) channel has been analysed for different pulse shaping filters namely Better Than Raised Cosine (BTRC), Improved Sinc Power (ISP), Parametric Linear Pulse (PLP) and Parametric Exponential (PEXP). The simulation results show that ISP filter provides better BER performance than other filters due to lower side-lobe levels. |
