Popis: The article presents the structure of the computer system for solving the problem of controlling the converter steelmaking process taking into account the requirements of environmental safety, intensification of the processes of recycling raw materials and materials, as well as reducing the waste capacity of production. The basis of the computer system is a customizable library of mathematical models (fuzzy, deterministic, and empirical). The library allows calculating and predicting key process parameters (converter productivity, steel quality composition, carbon dioxide emissions, refractory consumption of the working layer of the converter lining, aggressiveness of the slag melt, amount of slag formed). The computer system allows, in the mode of the operator-distributor of the converter, to identify complex fuzzy relationships between process parameters and make recommendations on resource- and energy-saving control of the steelmaking converter process, taking into account environmental safety requirements. Computer system was tested according to metallurgical enterprises PAO Severstal and PAO NLMK.
