Popis: The article is devoted to the information technology of using dynamic Bayesian networks (DBN) for assessing and modeling the quality of law enforcement agencies' work. A DBN model has been developed for analyzing and predicting the criminal situation in the region. The model was designed in collaboration with law enforcement officers, as well as forensic experts in the selection and quantification of input and output variables. The model was validated on a data set for the period from 2009 to 2019.
