Popis: Python is a versatile language that's easy to understand, easy to learn and run on pretty much anything. This article ably demonstrates some of the practical uses of Python and it's packages to build a laboratory for scientific computing with techniques such as graphical user interface, visualization and web-based apps. We also introduce the live platform to the Python computing environment. The live Python platform allows one to boot virtually any recent computer from a single DVD or usb stick into a fully-configured Python laboratory with 1.5G bytes of softwares.
