Spontaneous Polarization and Domain Reversal in New Ferroelectric LaBGeO 5

Popis: We obtained the temperature dependence of a pyroelectric current and spontaneous polarization in a single-domain state of the ferroelectric LaBGeO 5 (LBGO) (Tc=532°C). Hystresis loops, the temperature dependence of a coercive field were obtained for frequencies 0.05-1 Hz. It is shown that the coercive field increases exponentially with the lowering of a temperature and is about 150 kV/cm at room temperature and 0.1 Hz. Polarization change and switching characteristics were obtained under a step field.
