Popis: | Density Trajectory Study is a real-time computer-controlled notation system that instructs improvising musical performers when to perform and when to rest, following statistical parameters specified by the composer. The underlying scheduler gives the composer control over the performance density and how it changes over time. The software was originally designed for an ensemble of home-made instruments, and was later rewritten for guitar quartet and again for solo performer. The software was written in Java Music Specification Language (JMSL) by the author. |
