An initial study was developed using VR (https://osf.io/ncz7t) but due to COVID-19, the study had to be moved online. Therefore, part two and three could not be carried out as planned. This pre-registration documents includes the amendments made to the study in light of the COVID-19 restrictions. The current pilot study aims to test and gather feedback on a possible VR experience which could be used to manipulate body image. The study will be conducted in two parts. Part will remain the same as previously documented in https://osf.io/ncz7t. Part 2 will involve participants viewing videos of the VR reality environment presented in a first-person perspective. Feedback will be gathered in terms of the visual, interaction and engagement of the VR experience. |
