Popis: This study examines how Columbia undergraduates select their instructors each semester. Participants choose between two hypothetical instructors based on a variety of factors including gender and ethnicity (both signaled by name), class time, class location, grading reputation, whether the instructor is a graduate student or a professor, and whether they have a teaching award. The researcher is particularly interested in whether the gender or ethnicity of an instructor impacts their rate of selection.
