Popis: Several methods have been used to examine cerebrospinal fluid dynamics, i. e. by infusion or perfusion studies (Ekstedt 1977, Borgesen and Gjerris 1982), particularly in hydrocephalic children and adults. Resistance to CSF-outflow (Rout) or the reciprocal value conductance to CSF-outflow (Cout) has been measured during conditions with normal or increased intracranial pressure: High pressure hydrocephalus (Gjerris et al. 1982), normal pressure hydrocephalus (Portnoy and Croissant 1976, Borgesen and Gjerris 1982) and pseudotumour cerebri (Sklar et al. 1979, Gjerris et al. 1985).
