Popis: A heterodyne imaging array to cover the 90–115 GHz frequency range is under construction at FCRAO. The mixers will use Schottky diodes operated at 20 K with integrated HEMT IF amplifiers. Response at the image frequency will be suppressed by a cooled quasi-optical filter which terminates the unwanted sideband in a 20 K load. Polarization interleaving will be used to minimize the array size on the sky. The 15 elements will form a 3×5 array with approximately 1 by 2 FWHM beamwidth spacing between pixels.
