Popis:	The use of livestock in pinewoods and eucalyptus woods in Galicia in order to prevent forest fires, has been studied for over fifteen years. The transformation of the undergrowth vegetable matter into animal protein and the decrease of the brushwood biomass, would mean that the possibility of the initiation or spreading of a forest fire would be minimum, whereas the production of timber would be mantained.
