Popis:	A new caralumagenin bisdesmosidic glycoside (carumbelloside VI), the new pregnene-type steroid bourcergenin, and four new tetrosides of boucergenin (umbellosides I–IV) were isolated from the whole plant of Caralluma umbellata. Their structures were elucidated by extensive NMR spectroscopic studies devoid of any derivatisation.
