Popis: | In this paper, a new Ultra-Wideband (UWB) antenna is presented. The proposed antenna has been designed from a circular metallic ring fed by a capacitive elliptical shaped monopole. A cavity is included at the bottom of the structure in order to generate a unidirectional radiation pattern. Simulation result shows an impedance bandwidth ranging from 3.2 GHz to 8.37 GHz (89.36%) for S 11 < -10 dB and gains upper to 7.75 dBi in the wide bandwidth available, respectively. The proposed antenna has overall dimensions of 0.68λ x 0.68λ x 0.16λ, where λ is the wavelength at the minimum frequency. |
