The approach to test-based diagnosis of distributed computer systems considered in the paper involves introduction of redundancy in the system aimed to make the test design and the diagnostic process simpler. In effect, the introduced redundancy is a diagnostic model of the system, for which sufficient conditions of controllability and observability are formulated. The diagnostic model runs in parallel with the main software of the system. |
