Popis: | ZSM-5-supported metal catalysts, including Fe/ZSM-5, Co/ZSM-5, Ni/ZSM-5, Cu/ZSM-5 and Mo/ZSM-5, were tested for the plasma-induced CO2 hydrogenation in a dielectric-barrier discharge (DBD) plasma reactor. A significant synergy between DBD plasma and the catalyst was found. Without catalyst, CO2 was converted solely to CO at a conversion level of 8.1% in the plasma. The supported metal catalysts enhanced CO2 conversion and promoted the hydrocarbon formation. Co/ZSM-5 exhibited the best performance with a C2-C4 selectivity of 13.7% at 45.0% CO2 conversion. Powder XRD studies revealed that the stable active phase was Co metal particles in the Co/ZSM-5 catalyst. |
