Popis: | Habitual snoring is the cardinal symptom of respiratory sleep disorders and arises from a series of causes that are classified into adenotonsillar hypertrophy with or without obesity, and miscellaneous causes. Habitual snoring is defined as the presence of snoring on three or more nights per week. Its prevalence has recently increased in the pediatric population because of several factors. Snoring screening should be incorporated into all care for children and complemented by additional tests. |
