CW, single-frequency 229nm laser source for Cd-cooling by harmonic conversion

Popis: harmonic of a single-frequency optically pumped semiconductor laser using a 10-mm long, Brewster-cut BBO crystal in an external cavity. With 650mW of 458nm input, 216mW of 229nm power was observed. Conversion efficiency from 458nm to 229nm was more than 33%.
