Popis: | Semiconducting Cu2S thin films were deposited on glass substrate by simple and economical chemical bath deposition technique. The depositions were carried for 40 min in the pH range 10-11 and prepared thin film were characterized by UV-Vis absorption spectroscopy and electrical characterization (I-V) electrical characterization (I-V) characteristic. The e energy band gap determined from UV-vis absorption spectra and is found to be 1.94 eV. The dark and light I–V characteristics are used for electrical measurements. I–V linear curves showed the ohmic behaviour of the material. Copper sulphide is a p-type semiconductor material and can be used for solar control coating, photo thermal conversion and batteries. |
