Experimental Analysis of the Effect of Vacuum Degassing Technology on the Solventless Laminating Adhesive Performance

Popis: Solventless laminating technology has advantages of energy saving and environmental protection, and is widely used in package printing industries now. For solventless laminating technology, the quality of solventless laminating adhesive has a big effect on the quality of laminating results. In this paper, some experiments have been done to analyze the effect of vacuum degassing technology on the performances of solventless laminating adhesive, such as fold endurance, adhesion force and peel strength. The analysis of experimental results shows that the vacuum degassing technology not only decreases the quantity of small air bubbles in the laminating adhesive which is mixed by A/B material, but also improves the performances of solventless laminating adhesive in the fold endurance, adhesion force and peel strength. This research shows that the vacuum degassing technology is helpful for improving the solventless laminating quality.
