Low Temperature Raman Spectra of Zinc Tris(Thiourea) Sulphate (ZTS) Single Crystals

Popis: The Raman spectra of Zinc tris(Thiourea) Sulphate (ZTS) have been recorded at low temperature (10 K) in the wavenumber range 0-1700 cm -1 and 3000-3500 cm -1 . The spectra were compared to those at room temperature and to those of similar compounds containing thiourea and sulphate molecules in order to propose an assignment of the observed vibrational modes at 10 K. The lattice vibrations of a ZTS crystal are analysed with the help of group theory.
