Popis:	Ionic liquids (ILs) have gained significant attention in the oleochemical industry as a medium and catalyst. The use of ILs in the chemoenzymatic preparation of biodiesel, biolubricants, and other oleochemicals have great potential due to the ease of product isolation from the reaction, the possibility of reusing the catalyst, and the low risk of environmental contamination. This chapter explores these potential uses in the oleochemical field.
