Popis: Chapter 9 turns to the final key question of creativity in engineering: training and education. A key issue that continues to dog creativity training, particularly in engineering, is the question: Can creativity be taught? This chapter addresses the effectiveness of creativity training, the abilities that need to be trained, and the demands of different domains. The chapter also reviews a range of different techniques for facilitating and developing creativity. An important theme of this section is the fact that creativity is not an elusive, ill-defined construct, but is well understood and entirely teachable.
