Popis:	Field experience data on the stress corrosion cracking of a tube system made of Grade 12Kh18N10T austenitic stainless steel are given. The pattern of damages and the factors causing them to appear in certain locations are analyzed. Design and operational solutions aimed at making the heaters more reliable are proposed.
