Optical technologies have proven their versatility to manufacture microfluidic devices with different geometries, sizes and functionalities. Laser-based techniques have recently appeared, capable of overcoming the complexity and waste production of photolithography. In this work we analyse two laser-based technologies with great potential in channel fabrication for microfluidics applications: laser ablation and stereolithography. |
