Popis:	The paper identifies the current, previously unexplored problems of industrial architecture of small and medium business entities on the territory of the Southern Federal District. The purpose of this work is to detect an optimal solution, taking into account the specific economic conditions of the country. The paper presents the research results of small and medium-sized enterprises in the Southern Federal District. The current problems and factors which define the architecture of these enterprises are described herein. It is shown that the general economic dynamics changes the significance of these factors and, as a consequence, the nature of design solutions.
