Popis: The article discusses the features of the operation of underground gas storage facilities with the injection of a mixture of hydrogen and methane. It is shown that when such a mixture is injected, its chemical interaction with formation water and rock can occur, which leads to variations in the permeability, porosity and physical-mechanical properties of the reservoir. The consequence of such interaction may be unforeseen geomechanical and geodynamic processes that negatively affect the operation of underground gas storage facilities.
