Popis:	The work is motivated by very different lifetime of the Al-brasses tubes made by different manufacturers in spite of the fact they are one type. The goal of the research work is studying of parameters with influencing degradation processes of Al-brasses in pipe systems. Four types of Al-brasses with similar chemical composition were investigated. By evaluation of chosen properties (microstructure, microhardness, surface state etc.) parameters affecting degradation resistance of the examined materials were investigated. The evaluation of the parameters has considerable impact on degradation processes (corrosion, erosion) with implication on safety and durability of cooling pipe systems.
