Popis:	1. The rate constants of the inhibition of acetylcholinesterase (ACE) by O-alkyl-S-n-butylmethylthio-phosphonates were determined. 2. It was hypothesized that on the active surface of ACE, in contrast to butyrylcholinesterase (BuCE), a hydrophobic portion of limited extent lies in the region of the esterase center. 3. The toxicity (LD60) of the investigated compounds for mice was determined.
