Popis:	Nitro and amino derivatives of pyrido[1,2-f]phenanthridinium perchlorate were synthesized by the Pschorr method and by photocyclodehydrogenation from N-(nitrophenyl)-or N-(aminophenyl)pyridinium perchlorates. The mechanism of the photoconversion was investigated.
