Popis: Suppressor cells and enhancing antibodies can be understood as the cellular and humoral agents of what I have called the facilitation reaction (FR). Under physiological conditions, this active, specific immune reaction does always take place in front of a (at least potential) rejection reaction (RR), so that one is led to write the equation IR = RR + FR, indicating that the immune reaction is the result of a rejection reaction interfered with by a facilitation reaction.
