Popis:	Laser, in bronchology, was first tried in 1974 by Strong, who used a carbon dioxide laser coupled to a rigid bronchoscope (1). In 1978 the Paris team first used the Neodymium-Yttrium-Aluminum-Garnet laser (Nd- YAG) which is much better suited to endoscopic requirements than the CO2 laser because of the flexible fiber (2).
