Popis: | The paper describes the complex of scientific instruments and the algorithm of the “Molniya-Gamma” experiment on measuring gamma-ray fluxes in the energy range of 32–750 keV carried out in 2011 on board the Russian Segment (RS) of the International Space Station (ISS). About 500 thousand energy spectra with a time resolution of 1 min were obtained in 512 energy channels during 232 days. One-second variations in the number of gamma quanta in four energy channels and the triggered fluxes of gamma quanta lasting less than 100 ms were recorded simultaneously. The data obtained allow us to study temporal and spatial variation of gamma-ray radiation to detect terrestrial gamma flashes (TGFs). Data on very large number of gamma-ray spikes were acquired through a trigger data mode with a low threshold. |
