Preparation and studying the electrical characteristics of (PS-PMMA-BaTiO3) nanocomposites for piezoelectric applications

Popis: The preparation of (PS-PMMA-BaTiO3) nanocomposites for piezoelectric applications has been investigated. Barium titanate nanoparticles were added to a polymer blend of (PS-PMMA) at various concentrations (3, 6, 9 and 12) weight percent. We investigated structural, and ac electrical characteristics of (PS-PMMA-BaTiO3) nanocomposites. Results indicate as frequency of the (PS-PMMA-BaTiO3) nanocomposites increases, dielectric constant & dielectric loss decreases. Conductivity of ac current increase with frequency. At increasing BaTiO3 NPs concentration, dielectric constant, dielectric loss & ac conductivity for (PS-PMMA) polymer blend increases. Application of piezoelectric demonstrated decreasing (PS-PMMA-BaTiO3) nanocomposites resistance as increasing the pressure.
