Popis: | It is estimated that more than 95% of new drug candidates suffer from limited bioavailability [1] . Particle size reduction and formation of amorphous form are commonly used techniques in modifying bioavailability of such drugs. In the present study, electrospraying was used in drug particle production. Three poorly soluble drugs were electrosprayed. Particle size was reduced down to micrometre range. Electrospraying was carried out in both atmospheric and reduced pressure, the latter in order to increase the proportion of amorphous content. The aim of the study was to examine the degree of crystallinity of the produced particles for both pressures. |
