Popis:	The synthesis of racemic 1-deoxy-1-thio-dihydroceramide-1-phosphate 6 from rac -3-benzoyl-dihydroceramide 1 as a substrate analogue for ceramide 1-phosphate phosphatase, was developed using an Arbuzov-type reaction to form the S-P bond.
