Popis: | The coefficient of β-stabilizationKβ was introduced in Russia for titanium alloys in the seventies. It makes it possible to determine the class of the alloy from its chemical composition and evaluate approximately the mechanical properties. The present paper concerns the effect of various elements and the cooling rate in quenching onKβ. The limits of application of the coefficient of β-stabilization are determined. |
